Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how MTS Home Inspections LLC ("MTS," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information obtained through mtshomeinspections.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information You Provide
When you request an emailed estimate or submit a question through the Site, we collect the following:
- your email address and, if provided, your name and telephone number;
- the property address and the property details used to calculate the estimate;
- the services selected and the estimated price displayed; and
- the content of any message you submit.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you submit a request, we also record the following:
- the page of the Site from which the request was submitted;
- the referring website, if any; and
- your IP address, which is used solely to limit repeated submissions from a single source.
In addition, the servers that host the Site maintain standard access logs, which record the IP address, browser type, page requested, and date and time of each request. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described in this Privacy Policy to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, schedule and perform an inspection, maintain business records, and operate and improve the Site.
4. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their marketing purposes. We disclose information only:
- to Hostinger, which hosts the Site and provides the database and email services in which your information is stored;
- to the State of Connecticut's property records service, limited to the property address, as described in Section 6;
- to Google, to the limited extent described in Section 8; and
- where required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain estimate requests and inquiries as business records with no fixed retention period, so that your property information remains available if you contact us again. You may request deletion of your information at any time, as described in Section 11.
6. Property Records Lookup
When you enter an address into the estimator, your browser sends that address to the State of Connecticut's public property records service at data.ct.gov to retrieve the property's square footage and year of construction. Only the address is transmitted for this purpose. Your name and contact information are not included in the lookup.
7. Information Stored on Your Device
The estimator stores the property address, the property details, and the services you select in your browser's local storage so that they remain available if you return to the Site. Your name, email address, and telephone number are not stored on your device. This information remains on your device and is transmitted to us only if you submit a request.
8. Google Analytics and Cookies
The Site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to measure how visitors use the Site, including pages viewed, the source of each visit, device type, and approximate location at the city level. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish one visit from another. According to Google, IP addresses are used to determine approximate location and are then discarded.
We do not transmit your name, email address, telephone number, or property address to Google. Google Analytics cookies are the only cookies used on the Site. For more information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You may opt out of Google Analytics by disabling cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. No content is loaded from those websites until you follow a link. Once you leave the Site, the privacy policy of the third-party website governs your use of it.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us as described in Section 14. We will respond within one business day of receiving your request.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
